Only 50 miles and approximately 75 minutes’ drive from Geneva airport, Morzine is one of the most accessible ski resorts from England.

 We regularly drive from our home in Lancashire and it usually takes us about 9 hours from Calais to Morzine, a distance of 540 miles.

 It is motorway all the way apart from the final 20 miles from Cluses, from where you follow the signs to Taninges, then to Les Gets and Morzine

Chalet Lucie is situated on the quiet road Route d’Essert Romand, which is just off the main road from Morzine to Thonon on the outskirts of Morzine in the Les Granges area.

It is a brisk 25 minute walk into the centre of Morzine, or a five minute bus ride/drive. The bus stop is approximately 200 metres from the chalet and during the winter there is an excellent free bus service running all day every 30 minutes into the centre of Morzine stopping at the two main ski lifts, the Pleney and the Super Morzine, with bus links to the Prodains lift to Avoriaz. It is very convenient, we use the bus all the time summer and winter.

When approaching Morzine, turn left at the first roundabout (by the Hotel de Savoie) signposted toThonon/Montriond, follow this road for 400 metres then turn left at the sign D329  Essert Romand. Chalet Lucie is approx 50 metres on the left hand side.
