Chalet Lucie is a luxury detached chalet set in a quiet area of Morzine, a beautiful Alpine town in the heart of the Portes du Soleil region of Haute-Savoie.

Built in 2007, we purchased the duplex apartment within the chalet in December 2010, and have been upgrading the apartment since then. We stay in the apartment on a regular basis throughout the year with our family and rent the apartment at other times.

Our duplex apartment occupies the top two floors of Chalet Lucie; there are two smaller privately owned apartments underneath.

The top floor is a stunning open-plan living space of over 90 square metres, including a dining area for ten people, a fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, a large open-plan seating area with an open fire, a desk and a pool table. There are two balconies overlooking the garden.

The ground floor incorporates the entrance hall and four bedrooms, all over 14 square metres and including en-suite facilities, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bed side tables. One bedroom has a double bed, the other three bedrooms have twin beds. One of the twin bedrooms has a bath with an overhead shower, and all bedrooms have a balcony.

There is space in two of the twin rooms for a fold-up bed (perhaps more suitable for teenagers/children) thereby increasing the sleeping capacity to ten people. We also have two babies’ cots and high chairs available, plus a baby-gate for the staircase and a tandem baby buggy if required at no extra cost – please inform us of your needs when booking.

We have our own secure ski boot room situated next to the main chalet entrance within the garage with a heated boot rack, ski rack and shelves for helmets, gloves, bags etc. This room can store bikes in the summer.

There are designated parking spaces: in front of the two garage doors and under the car port in the space nearer to the chalet.

The apartment is strictly no smoking and pets are not allowed.

The apartment is let on a self-catering basis, from 4pm on arrival day. Bedding and towels are provided for the number of people booked and included in the price.
